Effective as of 1 January 2021, fundamental changes will be occurring in the legislation governing annual leave. These changes affect all employees in an employment relationship with the university,

One fundamental change is that creation of entitlement to annual leave and determination of its length will, in the specific case of the given employee, depend on theweekly working hours actually worked in accordance with the workload agreed in the employment contract (the so-called "merit principle"). Annual leave will now also not be calculated in days, but in hours using the level of your workload as a basis.
