The Second Year of the Day Camp Was Successful

The Human Resources Management Office, in cooperation with Centre of Leisure Time Lužánky, organized the second year of the summer day camp. Based on the great response to last year's pilot year, the camp was held in two sessions this year.
The day camp on the topic of Vanishing Insects took place in the first half of August. During the camp, the children researched and found out all sorts of things about the various types of insects that occur in nature around us. Entomologist prof. RNDr. Zdenek Laštůvka, CSc. enriched the program with an interesting talk about the insect world and a practical demonstration of capture. The program included two trips, the children went to Blatiny in the Vysočina region and visited the educational anthill in Soběšice.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the program and we believe that the children liked the camp and were satisfied.
