MENDELU defends HR Award

17. 3. 2025

A year after submitting the self-assessment report, we have been invited by the European Commission to present the defence of the HR Excellence in Research Award. On Wednesday, 9 April 2025, two foreign evaluators will personally visit the university to assess how well the institution aligns with the European Charter for Researchers.

The European Commission evaluators – Larraitz Lopez and Dario Pelizzon – will evaluate the quality of the implementation of the university's human resources management strategy and its compliance with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers.

The evaluation visit will involve the leadership of MENDELU, representatives of the HR Management Office, the HR Award Working Group (Rector's Committee for Personnel Development), as well as scientific, research, and academic staff. The program for the day will consist of various meetings, during which discussions will focus on working conditions, organizational culture, recruitment and selection of employees, career development, and more.

This visit is a crucial step toward defending the HR Award and confirming Mendel University’s commitment to the highest standards in human resources management in science and research.
