Round table: How to support early career researchers?

27. 10. 2023

The further roundtable meeting (in Czech), this time with PhD. students, will take place on Wednesday 1 November. The main topic will be the support of early career researchers in the framework of the requirements of the European Charter for Researchers.

Mendel University subscribes to the principles enshrined in the European Charter for Researchers. In this context, we will address:

  • What support do you receive from your supervisors?
  • How do you perceive the working relationships and organisational culture at the university?
  • Are you aware of the ethical aspects of your research work?
  • Do you have any experience with the selection procedure to get a job at MENDELU or elsewhere?
  • How do you manage to combine study and work?
  • What opportunities for further education and development do you take advantage of at the university and what do you miss?
  • Do you yourself have the possibility to change something at the university for the better?

The event will take place on Wednesday 1 November 2023 from 10:00 to 12:00 in room E23 (ICV building).

The discussion will be moderated in Czech by Vice-Rector for Human Resources and Internal Communication Lea Kubíčková and Renata Denková.

Your feedback is very important for us to change things for the better.

We look forward to meeting you.
