Career development support

Caring about the staff’s personal development is the duty of every managerial employee. Therefore, the Rector’s Guidelines on Human Resources Management oblige managerial employees to support the career development of their subordinates and create annual personal plans for them.

 

Training and Development

 

  • Another way to work on your own development is the educational portal SEDUO.CZ (in Czech/Slovak language), which offers a wealth of video courses on soft and professional skills. If you would like to gain access to Seduo.cz, please speak to your manager. The licence is paid from the budget of each respective unit.
  • Lectures and webinars (in Czech language) on topics such as citations, plagiarism and advanced searching for scientific publications in databases are offered by the Department of Scientific and Pedagogical Information and Services.
  • Courses of the Project Centre can be found on the MENDELU Courses portal.
  • Doctoral students are invited to the Ph.D. School

 

Mobility abroad

International mobilities are also very important for the development of academic workers, scientists and researchers. Information on what steps need to be taken when you wish to travel abroad is provided by the International Relations Office.
