The recruitment process at Mendel University usually consists of two stages.

In the first stage, it is determined whether the applicants meet the essential requirements (in particular their level of education, the length and nature of their experience and their language and other skills) on the basis of the documents that the applicants were asked to submit.

Applicants who meet these requirements are invited to the second stage, i.e. the job interview. The interview takes place either in person or online (the specific means of electronic communication are agreed by the parties involved).

When submitting an application, the following documents are required: CV, cover letter, brief summary of experience, including any scientific and research activities, list of publications and any reaction to them, and the applicant’s consent to personal data processing.

InterviewAs Mendel University in Brno has signed up to the principles stipulated in The European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the recruitment of researchers, we do our utmost to make sure that the selection of new employees is open, transparent and based on evaluating the merits of the applicants (their experience as well as their potential).
