During your stay Officers for Foreign Employees help you communicate with workplaces that do not have the required language skills, arrange a tax advisor, Czech language courses or Adaptation-Integration Courses. The Welcome Office is here to help you and offer you a hand in dealing with various situations in life, e.g. can also help with residence permits to your family members

The Coordinator for Work-Life Balance will assist you in the matter of maternity/parental leave, care service and the school education (from the age of 6 is compulsory in the Czech Republic).

Extending a long-term residence permit

It is always necessary to check the length of your long-term residence permit. If the validity of your permit card is going to expire, it should be extended at the OAMP MV ČR. It is necessary to submit an application for an extension of a validity of the long-term residence permit soon enough 120 days before the end of a validity of existing long-term residence permit or a long term visa and at the latest day of a validity of the visa or residence permit. It should be taken into account that there is some time necessary to collect all the documents.
